Me Myself and I

Always thought the whole blogging thing was kinda lame, but hey, I'm bored at home, not much else to do, and a few friends let me see theirs, and whaddaya know they were pretty cool. I'm a relatively simple guy I guess, and probably boring, so yeah. I'm pretty relaxed usually, almost never get mad, or when I do I don't let it show, not tryin' to bum people out. Due to my chill nature most people are surprised to learn that one of my favorite past times is going to hardcore punk shows, yeah, the ones where people go crazy, the ones your mom warns you about, blah blah. I've been attending them frequently for the past 3 or 4 years and have met some awesome people, seen some amazing bands and had some great times, gotten a few dings and dents (aka dislocated jaw, fractured orbital, split lips, etc.) here and there but it's way worth it.
I've been playing guitar for like five or six years now, nothing too serious, just jamming with friends and messing with solo acoustic kinda stuff, I love music. Me and a couple good friends just put together some recordings for a hardcore band actually, so be sure to look out for The 18th playing around Richmond. I don't drink or do drugs, bunch of reasons for it but in a nutshell I don't need that stuff to have a good time, I have plenty of fun without it, and have personally witnessed what can go wrong when people resort to those things. It's whatever, I don't pass judgement on people for it or anything so no worries.

What else...umm...I'm a pretty social guy, always down to hang out with friends or do something, used to be a little more reserved but in the past few years I've become completely comfortable with who I am and act accordingly. My view is, if people can't accept you for who you really are, they're not worth it. Hmmm...I like to laugh a lot, and try (in vain?) to make people laugh. I do what I can. I'm usually pretty positive also, but tend to question a lot of things, it's hard for me to accept some things at face value, as you can probably surmise from that I've got some complicated religious views. I'll cover that some other time maybe.

Oh yeah. I'm a caffeine fiend. Like you probably can't even comprehend, we're talkin' minimum of 3 or so cups of some seriously strong tea a day, and at least 2 cups of coffee. Starbucks is pretty good in a pinch, but the real stuff in Richmond is at Black Hand or Lamplighters...huhuhuh.

Peace.
